Great effort attempting to raise funds and awareness for the California wildfires still affecting so many people/families. Great entry, and def something that is still going on right now that people need to pay attention to and assist.

Great contest, nice feature of TeamGood! I was "around" when @battleaxe was working up TG in her fertile mind, and the top Ladies @ancapbarbie and @sapphic were plotting and planning some actual infrastructure to land Axey's idea into. Ancap built the discord and Sapph helped her out with some Bots to keep the natives from becoming restless. (LOL!) As a long time friend and confidant with the beloved Battle-Axe, I was invited right at the inception, as was @swolesome. @reverendrum was an IRL "acquaintance" of Axey and he joined steem, and TG all about this same time. I actually talked to Rum before TG burst on the scene... These events are all from memory, but as accurate as I can portray them. The women of TG are definitely the real "Movers and Shakers" of the group, for sure!

I have the utmost respect for @BattleAxe, #TeamGood, and everyone involved with the TG project. I am happy to hear you were around for the projects inception, and am honored that you stopped by our contest to give a shout out. I used to help my dad with "Marches Depassons le handicap", à Rotary organized event to help raise funds for handicapped people by walking 10 km.
The participants would pay a good sum to join the walk and local businesses would donate water, food and equipment for a lunch after the walk.
The raised money would go to charities helping handicapped people lead better lives.
I helped beta test the walk every year for 4-5 years to make sure it wouldn't completely kill the participants, and was safe enough. We never encountered any real problems (other than the fact that on 2 occasions, so 2 different years, during the actual walks I had the soles of my shoes fall off... I tend to wear down my footwear till it dies 😰)
Other than that I donate 10€ to Wikipedia every month, but that's about it 😅

That is awesome that you are walking to help those that may not be able to themselves. Much respect my friend, and I can always appreciate resourcefulness. I never get rid of my shoes until they are literally unusable.

First of all a big Thank you to you @elamental for all that you do. So many wonderful support initiatives, not everyone would have a heart to do that.
I have not done many big things, but I try to keep doing something or the other in a way that can make a difference to someone's life.
I run a Detox diet program which I do it online on WhatsApp all across. When I do this program I charge only from 50% of participants, fron the other 50% I ask them to reach out to anyone who needs help and someone who is in genuine need to do something for them equivalent to the amount of my fees. Also in the program we have one Giving day where everyone needs to do one act of kindness in whatever way they can specially to someone who cannot repay us back.
At the end of the program my participants feel very good about the whole program.
I do not force anyone to do it and I trust that they would do it.
We are blessed to do a lot for others and I try to keep doing it as much as in my capacity.
I do a lot of distance healings for people I do not know and I feel very blessed that I get the opportunity to be helpful with what I can do best.

By asking those who do not pay to be charitable to others instead is like a double charity. I really like the "one act of kindness" giving day idea, it reminds me of #EarthDeeds in a way.
