3D Printer Time Lapse - Watering Can

in 3dprinting •  6 years ago

My wife wanted a watering can for some plants, so I printed one for her. This was my first time trying Octolapse, so I thought I'd share the results. The watering can works great!

Welcome to the platform @theinedibleholk !

It's good to see a fellow 3D printer enthusiast join :)

if you ever make a significant 3D printing project and document it in a post, give us a call over on @steemmakers !

We're a community initiative that aims to support makers on the Steemit platform for their contributions :)

We've recently gotten a very interesting partnership with @utopian-io (another community initiative that supports those that contribute to open-source projects) that has increased our vote values, so we're busy re-imagining how we help makers (right now we're thinking 3-4 different "tiers" of votes, with the maximal one, for really great articles, being in the 30$ vote value thanks to Utopian's technology and innovation voting trail :) )

Until we redo all that, I sadly can't add your post, given it's simply the printing of an already existing model.

But there's lots of opportunity here on the platform !

For creative commons artwork, or just great artwork in general, we have @slothicorn and the @creativecrypto magazine.

For truly superb articles, we've got the @curie intitiative, which has curators that scour the platform regularly (their reward tiers are pretty high, but also very selective).

In any case, Welcome again to the platform, and I hope to see more 3D printing post from you :) !

Don't hesitate to stop by the #print3d #printing3d and #design3d tags where we other 3D printing enthusiast tend to hang out. We've got some really excellent designers over there !

PS: I know this is pretty long, as far as comments go, but I thought I'd try and present the overall creative landscape we "minnows" (slang for low powered accounts) have been creating for ourself. These community initiatives really show the strength of the Steemit platform :)

See you around !

Thanks for the info! It's awesome to see so much already here. This was a video I had lying around that I thought I'd post just to try this thing out. I've been really impressed with the response so far! If I can find the time, I'd love to post some more substantial content.
