I use busy, esteem, steemit...but they seem to be having issues lately.

Most of the time, I use Steemit, since I really like how simple it is.
But for posting stuff, I'm using steempeak, they have done a pretty good job on their frontend.

Yes, at the moment, Steemit doesn't have any notifications stuff. But they're working hard to get that done. They even built some sort of notification stuff into the blockchain to make it the same on all the front ends in the future.
