Truly stupid not to take such a power consumption into account when buying the hardware. That amount of energy is almost 200kW at any given time, of course they're going to notice.

Thats totally true. And even more necessary if you're one of the top exchanges by volume, you need to keep that ammount of funds safe from hacks.
