Today is a national holiday in Indonesia to commemorate the birth of Pancasila. Pancasila is the basis of our country which consists of five basic values. The first is the value of divinity, the second is about humanity, the third is about unity, the fourth is about deliberation for consensus and the fifth is about social justice.
Even though the birthday of Pancasila is still debated by experts, history is always written according to the desires of the authorities for whatever reason. Pancasila was born in 1945 during the competition between two major world ideologies, namely liberalism and communism.
Pancasila as a new ideology has certainly experienced many challenges and rejections. History has recorded various rebellions to replace Pancasila with communist ideology but they always failed.
However, in the reality that we experience, there is a large gap between ideology and the resulting legal products. So there is a lot of resistance to this. However, the voices of rejection are just discordant rhythms that have no meaning to the authorities, but for groups supporting the government, they of course put up resistance. They don't like it when their leaders are criticized and blamed.
In fact, they conveniently say just look for another country if you don't like it here. It's as if their group alone has the right to this country, the others are just freeloading. When the voices of rejection exceed the limit, they will be charged with defamation law or something else.
However, the voices calling for truth cannot be stopped. Even though various lies are created continuously, it seems the truth. They don't know that one day the truth will find the way.
