      If you had watched the first episode you would have seen the screen leading from an explosion to a point marked with the name home and that the spaceship needs the hourglasses as fuel...

      Theory: hat kids planet got destroyed and hat kid needs the hourglasses as fuel to go back in time to save her planet?
      I don't know I haven't seen the ending yet it's a blind playthrough.
