A Day of Gratitude: Reflecting on the Small and Big Blessings

Reading Bob Proctor's writings, I noticed that he ends his day by writing down ten things he is grateful for each day.

I thought deeply about it. Are there really so many things to be grateful for in a day?
Let's see, what am I thankful for today...

1. While exercising in the morning, I took a break to use the restroom, and a lady working there peeled a Zespri kiwi for me. I don't usually eat sweet fruits in the morning because of my blood sugar, and I knew it would be uncomfortable on the treadmill after eating it, but I couldn't refuse her kindness. Her thoughtfulness is definitely something to be grateful for.

2. I received news that we secured a contract I thought was impossible. Seeing the joy on my team member's face made me thankful and grateful for the achievement, regardless of the work that lies ahead.

3. Watching the trainees who successfully completed their training, I felt grateful towards them. They endured and persevered through difficult and uncomfortable tasks, and I am infinitely thankful and appreciative of them.

4. I'm thankful and grateful to the team leader who handled an unexpectedly assigned task without any complaints and completed it well.

5. I'm also grateful to my team member who accurately conveyed our message to the pesky finance manager, preventing any misunderstandings.

6. I'm thankful to my wife, who always gives her best for our family, even while spending tough days with the kids.

7. I'm really grateful to my two daughters, who, despite sometimes being bothered by each other or by me, rely on each other and grow up healthy and well.

8. I'm infinitely grateful to my two younger sisters, who always take care of our parents in my absence.

9. I don't know who it is, but I'm thankful to the YouTuber who helped me listen to Professor Kim Yong-Ok's university lectures during my commute.

10. Finally, I'm thankful and grateful to myself for living today to the fullest.

As I wrote, I realized there are more things to be thankful for than I thought.
Above all, I'm most grateful for my family and my colleagues.
Whether it's a small or big thing, I should end today appreciating the precious people in my life and remembering that nothing they do for me should be taken for granted.

Good night.
