Sadly, I heard that my old friend, who is a great community activist, having created a farmer's market in a food desert neighborhood of Park Hill, lost her beautiful 17-year-old son last week to some kind of incident on East Colfax Ave, Denver at 11:15pm. He was stabbed to death. He was a great kid and he was headed off to college at Northern CO University in Greeley in the fall...
I made her this Sigil painting with Psalm 18 embedded 3 times:
Encaustic, Collage & Oil on Wood 6" x 10"
This painting has 3 Sigil's which say the same thing:
One inside the heart:
One is inside the Sun
and the other is in the Feather.
Here’s the back:
I am going to see her this afternoon, and bring her this painting. I hope it helps.
Wow, @in2itiveart. I'm going to pray over this now and light up some smoke. Sending love their way now.
Beautiful piece.💘

thanks so much - they are having a memorial service next Tuesday in City Park Bandstand. Beverly Grant, the mom, started a farmer's market on 25th and Welton on Saturdays - she's a great person. Back before the gold rush around 2011-2012 when Denver was becoming a true community of sustainability and local food - she was doing the permaculture class at Growhaus - all that came to grinding halt pretty much with the pot law - but she did pull it off - and then her son was killed ... she really needs blessings. i have not seen her yet. I stopped by her house on Tuesday but she had a sign on the door that she was resting so I just left the painting with a note.
