Vocal Coaches - Who is Legit? How Can You Tell?

Hey guys, vocal coach its Consuella here, and I want to talk to you guys about something that’s kind of near and dear to my heart. In fact, it’s kind of breaking my heart, and that’s vocal coach singing scams, specifically on YouTube. And, the reason I bring this up is because I think it’s important that you guys are at least aware of it so you can make an educated decision on your own, of how to determine whether or not a singing coach is legitimate. Now, it’s almost, if it wasn’t so laughable… I’m going to read some stuff to you here, some things I just recently pulled off of YouTube… Some titles of things that people are “selling”….

Now, let’s be clear about this. I have a YouTube channel, other people have YouTube channels, we are all trying to grow our channels, and we’re all trying to do things that we believe may or may not be in the best interests of you and your voice. But, I’m not going to grow my channel at the expense of your voice. I’m going to grow my channel with legitimacy and authenticity, and I’m going to make sure that the information I give you is not only quality, but you can verify it with me and my voice, and my students that sing, and so forth. Now, by the way, for those of you that don’t know, not to toot my horn, but I want to give you some quick credentials here, so it’s not some random guy just throwing out some thing… Otherwise, how do you know, how to believe me? OK? Well, I have 40 commercially-released CDs around the world. 40. Four, Zero… I’ve got close to 1000 songs placed in film and television.
