Photo Fun Contest - Week 21 – “Old & Abandoned”. Wooden barge mid-20th century.

I already wrote about the abandoned passage Dolgiy and locomotives preserved on it here.
Today we will talk about the barge lying on the shore in the gulf of the river Taz.

Сегодня речь пойдёт о барже, лежащей в заливе реки Таз, неподалеку от паровозов.

More than 60 years ago, this barge with a caravan floated on the Ob river, through the Gulf of Ob came into the river Taz and climb to the railway station under construction.

Более 60-ти лет назад эта баржа сплавлялась с караваном по Оби, через Обскую губу заходила в реку Таз и поднималась до железнодорожной стройки.

For the winter barges on the Siberian rivers are pulled to the shore, so that the spring ice drift does not break them. Apparently in the autumn of 1952 this barge was pulled to the shore.

На зиму на сибирских реках все суда вытаскивают на берег, чтобы весенний ледоход не переломал их. Видимо осенью 1952 года эту баржу подняли на берег.

In the spring of 1953, the construction was closed and the barge not involved in the evacuation was left on the shore. And there is a wooden barge as a monument to the builders of the " Dead road".

Весной 1953 года строительство было заморожено, а затем закрыто и баржа, не участвовавшая в эвакуации, была оставлена на берегу. И стоит деревянная баржа, как памятник строителям "Мертвой дороги".
