The Sûreté du Québec is asking the public for assistance in finding a 42-year-old mother who allegedly abducted her three children during the month of April in Gatineau.
Yanna Mavraganis is wanted under a warrant of arrest. According to the police, she could be in Ontario, where she would go to shelters for women.
"She must appear under this warrant of arrest and the children must be handed over to the father who lives in Quebec, in accordance with the custody judgment," said the Sûreté du Québec in a statement issued Tuesday afternoon.
Yanna Mavraganis is 1.63 meters (5'4 ") and weighs 88 kg (195 lbs). She has brown hair and eyes.
The mother would be with her three children, Marina, 5, and Maximos and Maya, both 8 years old.
According to the authorities, Yanna Mavraganis could move aboard a dark blue Toyota Matrix, registered G32 JME.
