Truly Abiding, not just on steemit.

To be successful and remain successful in life, who we look up to, abide in or be initiated into, is of paramount importance. Jesus knows this, thus He shows us the way out. Christ is the way to the Father and life, so to have a secured, meaningful, fulfilled life we must abide in Him. We can't have the solution to life's puzzles if we choose to abide in philosophies of men, our intelligence or the system of this world. We can't be fulfilled except we abide in Christ our fulfilled promise of God, pronounced from the foundation of the world.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John15:4

Jesus is the word of God made to dwell among us. Thus to abide in Him means abiding in the word of God. Let us abide in Divine principles and cherish the spoken word of God. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life. Let us look out for what God says in every aspects and situations of life. Let us change our focus from the things of this world, the pleasure of sin and the pride of life, giving Christ our all. It's in total submission to Him that we can abide in Him.

We can't do without Jesus. He's our vine and we are only the branches. It's important to understand that the vine does not depend on the branches, but the branches depend on the vine to survive. It's dangerous to be an irrelevant branch, for such risk being cut off. Which branch are you: a fruitful or fruitless one? The choice is yours to make.

Let's pray together.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege to abide in Christ Jesus. Today we renew our commitment to abide in you forever, please help us to remain faithful and fruitful, in Jesus name. Amen.
