Where Are My Rights?
© Butch Dias 10/07/2018
I’m sitting in my mother’s womb,
Waiting one day to be born.
But my mom doesn’t want me,
From her womb I will be torn.
You cry about woman’s rights,
Well I am a woman too.
What about my say?
You’ll never see my eyes of blue.
I am made in God’s image,
Made to look like you.
I have your DNA mom,
I am crying and praying for you.
Will you ever hold me?
Tightly because you care.
Or will I end up in a can?
With parts hanging everywhere?
What is my fate mom?
Will I live or will I die.
Unborn babies have rights too,
To live shouldn’t be a question why.
