This the chiming cam set of a clock. Although the set looks bright and pristine inside the clock case. A close-up image reveals the machining marks of its construction together with early signs of corrosion on the surface finish of the supporting bars above and below. A very thin oil film will sort that out.
I thought it an interesting #abstract subject.

I have been using this little DMC-TZ80 recently as a slip in the pocket camera as often, when out for a meal or meeting people a full-size DSLR is cumbersome. It is not quite as good as my Canon DSLR in all situations but it is as good in many situations and the zoom is incredible. It is a very useful camera.
