I only flagged once, what is the current criteria to reply? Summoning would be great, but would anyone use it?

This isnt going to end well if you keep spamming comments.
Make a post, rape the reward pool by buying some votes, and you might get heard, but still, nobody will care.

Conversation is key in life, for humanity, and I made this list as I make new friends online, so, allegedly, I spam, some say, because I talk to too many people, do too many things, and people seem not to like it so much, they throw bots at me. Like Diamond & Silk on Facebook, maybe I'm also deemed as unsafe and maybe only Facebook and government and corporatism can tell us what is safe and unsafe because they must be our daddy and mommy some would argue.

Could you kindly remove the flag on @gaman on his comment to our post. He is doing no harm, he is actually helping new users on the platform. I feel this was a rather brash move to be honest......

Fact is, he was not spamming. He reaches out to new users to help them see themselves grow on the platform and all you are doing is making that harder @abusereports. Now, what I am going to say, is that YOU are abusing the rewards pool by posting glorification of flagging accounts that are indeed not spam. Seems to me as if you are looking for anyone you can lump in the spam category and misuse the flag option for. Of course, you are making money off of it, so you don't want to change it. But fact is, if you chose to abuse the rewards pool by abusing the ability to flag and then glorify it in posts, you are just as guilty as any real spammer or abuser.
Be someone of ethic and morals, and remove the flag that has no purpose to have been cast in the first place aside from you making money off of it by posting about it. If you want to continue to abuse the use of the flag without doing your research first, so be it. People will be educated of this though.

Edit: The Steemit community must make a decision on whether or not this is allowed. If this user is allowed to do it then are ALL users allowed to do it? And how do we decide who can and who can't? This is for the community to decide, not just you or me. And @steemcleaners @steemflagrewards @steem-abuse need to get in on this case study and use it as an example from which we can build a foundation that helps protect users like this while at the same time punishing the malicious users.
Either Zoom In or Right Click Image and Select Open In New Tab
And in fact, this particular user deserves to be considered the honorary greeter for steemit, and indeed they are performing a public service (but you really have to dig deep and think hard to understand how THIS particular user is NOT abusing the system, even though his actions meet all the qualifications for abuse.)
It is also hard to talk about this at all on steemit because I am trying to respect privacy and not relay intimate details all over the internet.

@anotherhero, let me put it to you like this. I myself work with greeting new users on the platform with human greeters. I know for a fact how time consuming and tiring it can be to reach out and comment on each single persons new introduction posts and such. It would take someone a lifetime to fill the spots this guy has. Because he uses the same message, does not mean he is spam. Dig into his content and not the message, you will see he has built something for new users to learn from. He was ONE of the only sources I had for learning this platform when I came into Steemit. It should not matter if he pastes the same comment to 20,000 different new Steemians, the fact is HE IS HELPING PEOPLE. Do you think you would be able to provide resources for 5,000 plus new accounts daily without copying and pasting your intro statement to them? I very highly doubt it. Seriously, the guy is helping people and you guys next time should just go digging a little deeper for information beyond what bots or programs report as repeat content. Though I understand how difficult it must be to do what you do, there are ways to improvise. so allow me to help you if at all possible so things like this do not happen in the future, and the mission becomes a large scale success instead of having collateral damage like @gaman. If you look at his material closely beyond the copy/paste comments, especially his work on Youtube, you will find his SELFLESSNESS is not SELFISHNESS.
Please look into folks a bit further than statistics when you choose them for flagging. Admittedly, there are many bad people on here and harmful things, but this guy is not one of them. May I offer the suggestion to have a human team who looks into these noted accounts prior to you guys pulling the trigger? Something I may be able to help with honestly. But, the choice is yours. Just take note that none of the big guys like SteemCleaners have flagged him or anything. That has to mean something, right?
I would recommend removing that flag. Flagging those who do not deserve it is a part of what Steemit is against. We do not like people who damage positive growth and profiteer from it, whoever that may be. Please remove the flag from Gaman. He is not spam and is not hurting, he is HELPING, something a great deal of people are not doing. So, please, do the right thing. You have an opportunity to make this right, so do it. Let him help people and do his thing without being flagged and hurt in the process for being selfless.
Like I said, please do some further research in the future before pulling the trigger. Though it is easy to base things off of technical specs, there is more to life than statistics. Your missions knows that all too well. Also, the guy in charge who had initially replied to me, was a bit lackluster in the public relations department judging by his replies. I'd like to see that fixed if you guys are going to work with people on such a wide spectrum. It's for the best of everything we all do on here. Remove the flag from @Gaman he is not here to hurt the platform.

@TerminallyIll, I like your points about the art of helping people. You mention the copy / paste thing. I can sympathize / empathize with people on both sides of the debate of what is spam and what is not spam and whether copying and pasting is or is not whatever it may or may not be. I appreciate people like you and also @AnotherHero and people who are talking about these things.
Helping new users is a good thing. And it is good when people talk to them. The hard part might be in the icebreakers. I like to engage people. But I sometimes say simple things to people. I don't know if I told you this before. I was telling @AnotherHero about this. I am not sure if other people do what I do or not. But I can repeat myself sometimes as I write so much. Sometimes, I copy and paste. And sometimes I literally rewrite the same exact words to other people by accident. I don't always plan it. It is like all the love songs that are similar in the world. It is like how all the Disney films might be pretty similar to each other. But people do have the right to flag my comments and posts. That is the art of capitalism. I believe in competition. Each one of us has that choice to like something, to share something, to flag something. Let the games begin haha.

You should have just told me to look up his YouTube account. That's all you had to say. I'm not the bad guy here, in fact I am sure I dug far deeper on this particular case than most probably have. We are all trying to make the community a better place and be involved. There are certain restrictions that from a technical standpoint MUST be inherent in a social platform such as steemit, and one of those restrictions is not being allowed to post identical comments every 20 seconds. This can be abused. Just because this user isn't abusing them doesn't mean we should give a free ride to everyone else.
This person is an incredibly unique example (as you will see if you actually dig deeper like you told me to do) and so YES I agree he should get leeway and we should measure our system to protect him and uplift his content, while simultaneously not turning our heads to the very real FACT that you can NOT from a technical perspective, differentiate between this user's comments and abuse with an automated system, PERIOD. It took human beings and hours of research to finally determine the truth behind this unique case.
Don't get so filled with narrow focused justice that you miss the big picture. This person is a good person, I can see that thanks to my own personal research before I read your comment, and the last thing I would want to see is for him to be punished or suffer. But we still cannot allow copy pasted comments on steemit, period. You have to look at it from more than the humanitarian perspective, you have to also see the technical difficulties in detecting the difference between this user's good intentions and other user's ill-intentions.

Well, I am sorry for coming off so brash, first and foremost, but the fact is a great deal of people on here trying to help newbies grow end up being on the wrong end of a flag. You know that just as well as I do, especially after this situation. Thank you for digging in and looking into what this guy actually does for the community. As I said, I apologize for coming off that way, it was more or less spurred by the man leading the account having such an unwillingness to look into it or talk to someone respectfully.
So, what my point was that this guy is indeed a humanitarian and out here to help people. It would take a lifetime to hand write that many intro post comments on a daily basis, which would hinder his ability to help people genuinely. Though he does copy and paste certain things, he is not just a bot. He does personally reply, he does personally work with folks. I just don't want to see another benefit to the community be lumped in with the BS on Steemit and have to become null because of technicalities. And yes, I should have directed you right to his Youtube account, but fact was I didn't know how much justice that would do him or the situation. I appreciate your comment back and your time! Thank you for looking into it.

I agree with you. It's a tough cookie to crack. I'll have to join the discord or something and see if we cant use these experiences to help improve steemit together. Perhaps the developers already know and are working on it right now, I don't know. I'm going to have to go through all the links on the link bar in the top right and see if I can find the answers there haha (I never read instruction manuals, I'm one of those people haha)

@AbuseReports is against charity, it seems. People are helping people in so many ways. Some people can allegedly deny that and call them racist, sexist, bad, bias, etc. That is too bad but that is the kind of world we live in I guess.

Agree with you, Gaman is helping people. @AbuseReports was attacking me too as I'm on this list as I must be a big bad wolf unsafe for the world like Diamond & Silk on Facebook and like Tomi and even Milo on Twitter as corporations and governments and maybe bots must tell us what is safe and what is unsafe for us as we are all kids and we cannot make those choices and decisions in what we think is safe and unsafe for ourselves some argue.

@AnotherHero states here that being friendly is bad, and that trying to make new friends is bad, and that there is such a thing as too many friends because he is GOD and he makes up the rules as I have been complimenting people online since 1998 and this is what I do for over twenty years and used to make ENCOURAGEMENT ARTICLES (EA) since 1998 or 2002 and have made thousands of those cards and papers and articles where I draw people and I give them out to people offline and made so many to people in real life in the flesh and thousands of people know me in real life and this is what I do and you do not like it even if we both hate Soros. Bots are still attacking me for being too friendly.

@joeyarnoldvn
You are free to compliment people online, but you are not supposed to say the same exact comment to hundreds and hundreds of people because that is against the community rules. All you have to do is try to use more words and repeat phrases less.
You have to try and understand that there are malicious people out there who do not have good intentions, and they use copy-paste comments similar to the ones you posted, but unlike you (you are a great guy) other people may not have the good intentions you do and they may want to manipulate people so they can get more steem credits, etc. (didn't you bring up capitalism earlier? Haha)
No one is saying you can't have friends or be friendly, quite the opposite, I followed you myself and I would love to be your friend. We are just trying to figure out how to make this website the best it can be, and that means we have to watch out for people who post the same comments over and over.
Please try to be slightly more thorough when writing your comments, so the automated systems don't mistake your posts for spam, and try to read every post you respond to before you respond because that way you can give more thoughtful comments too, which will make people happy and then you'll get even more friends!
I hope this helps! Go Joey!
