There are a bunch of new accounts whose sole purpose is to downvote everyone. They are generally powerless to do much to your posts, thankfully, but they're still hurtful when you don't know why you're being flagged. More and more of them are coming on pretending to be associated with some of the great Steemians out there.
Thankfully, there is also a team effort in our Steemit community to get abusers taken care of. See this post.

I have been flagged or downvoted almost every day for quite a few days. These folks are a nuisance and really seem to have no purpose. They have no posts or comments at the point of origin. I cannot see any point in harassing people as any kind of retribution to what has happened by others in their past, perceived or real.
