Just over a week ago you may have noticed a bunch of @haejin posts being heavily downvoted all the way to $0 and they have all finally locked.
This clearly was a concerted effort of many SP-strong Steemians. And it worked!
I understand that there are far better uses of significant SP than to fight battles like this, but I'm wondering if all the minnows could work together more effectively?
An obvious byproduct of this outright war is collateral damage, basically when the well-meaning little guy gets involved and sees an entire account literally destroyed. This aggressive strategy is extremely effective since most people are truly afraid to downvote.
There are tens of thousands of accounts created every month, and while many of them fade away quickly, there's still a tangible number of minnows out there grinding it out and building their SP.
Would it be possible to have anyone and everyone delegate as little as 5 SP to build up one account enough to have a meaningful impact on reducing the unfair distribution of rewards? Basically delegations specifically for downvoting, which I haven't seen yet so I'm interested in that idea. And not necessarily my account, I'm not petitioning for delegations, just interested to see if others think this is viable.
What do you think? I'm hoping to open a dialog on viable strategies that actually could be implemented.
Fery good
