Tyranny Strikes Again: @grumpycat is Back With a New Tactic

There's no preference in his abuse. He started by pretending to clean up the abuse from bid bots. So his tactic, instead of targeting the bot owners, he attacked the bidding users. Rich or poor, it didn't matter, he attacked them all with his flagging, including myself.

There is no way to target a bidbot owner that don't post other than to counter their votes.

Not happy with the flag you got? Go ask a refund to @michaeldavid or @honeybeee because that's where your money went.

After fighting an imaginary war between minnows and the tyrant for 3 month @drakos still ignores the basics. Convenient or just real dumb?

@Grumpycat think bidbots should make it less convenient for people to buy vote for direct profit on poor content. The vast majority of users are using steemit.com which sort content using a algorithm that provide ZERO extra visibility to posts older than a few days.

Yesterday 102/235 piece of content (mostly junk) brought votes at 3 day and 85 after 5 days via @sneaky-ninja.

Apart from a few very small bots @Sneaky-ninja (powered by @honeybeee) are the only one left that didn't comply.

Do you see them defending their stance?

@drakos keeps ignoring the core issue to be able to pretend he's fighting evil on behalf of the poors.

Whether they use bidbots or not, shitposts are shitposts. If you were doing things right in fighting shitposts, I would support you 100%.
If you made reports like other spam/abuse fighters do, I'll gladly upvote them 100%.
You still persist in flagging minnows that bid 1-5 SBD on @sneaky-ninja, wow so much abuse there! Compared to your own self-upvotes at $180 when your stake was 500,000SP, now reduced to $25 at your current SP. https://steemit.com/@grumpycat/comments

Your methods are contradictory and unfair to the minnows. There's a ton of shitposts that do not use bidbots at all, why don't you go after those?

You sit down on the table and open a dialogue with them. Post about it, raise awareness. Obviously you don't give a shit about dialogue, as you demonstrated in The Resistance discord.

For the record I hate bid bots or any upvoting bots really, that being said the way you are doing this is wrong and I question your motives. You are a con artist who does everything he faults others for and on top of that you own your own bot SMH. Your life must be in a sad state for you to take so much time in hurting others . It seems that posts do well when he downvotes them :) He never downvoted or talked crap about mine but that's unfair as all my projects are humanitarian in nature. However, I'd invite @grumpycat to swing one of his witness votes my way or delegate some SP any day lol. Fortuntely i've been able to dodge any negative bullets from him but i have read some of this stuff it is intriguing to say the least. I do have to agree that there has to be a solution to having to pray for votes from heavy weights or use bidbots which grumpycat apparently despises. I'm working on a project now that may help people with low SP get more exposure without begging, spamming, or using bidbots. Nothing against the bots at all. Except @transparency bot whose hardly transparently advertising the top bidbots.

Once you have a power they have lots of resources to stop you. But when it comes with the Steemit users issues, no comment with that. :)

Ok. I’m trying to read this objectively. I haven’t seen any of grumpycats posts or self votes. @grumpycat when people start being derogatory they reveal their position. “Get a life”. I’m sure @drakos has a life. How is that comment constructive or a counter to any valid evidence factual point. You’re losing your debate this way. Stick to facts. And if your money making scheme is not approved by the community stop trying to hide it and come up with a new one a more creative one. We all have to be more creative than the last guy to offer something newborn better here.

Well, except Bernie doesn't need to become GC, he has never been bashful about operating however he wants as bernie, except when he makes other accounts to give them funnier names, like Iflagtrash or whatever it was...

Also, I have actually taken some odd phrases GChas uttered and found them on duolingo forums as common translation mistakes from typically french speaking people, whereas bern has a full grasp of us english humor, sarcasm, and snark and things. bernie and grumpy have some very subtle differences in their language. One such example of what I mean, is when asked about the time a threat will start, GC has used the phrase "since today I will do this thing" - a grammar translation error cited on duolingo as typically French or Spanish. Bernie says things correctly for US/British English like "Starting today..." or "From now on" or "As of today" but not very many native English speakers will say "Since today I will do XYZ."

But mostly, Bernie doesn't make up accounts this big, he just does stuff as Bernie, and would in this case too, anecdotally looking at his history as I've observed it for close to a year now.

One other thing. Everyone who has been here a bit knows @berniesanders is @nextgencrypto. Why does that matter? Because he admits it freely, it's no secret. Bernie doesn't do such a good job of concealing his connected accounts because he doesn't care. So if he WAS GC, he would have had a hard time keeping the ruse up this long, I think. Just speculation based on his past behaviors I have personally witnessed.

He got me pretty good the other day, I tried to enter into a talk with him, cause I figured it would be very interesting to talk to him in person. I didn't get the chance though... I'm sad to hear that he is up-voting himself right before payout, that takes away from the keeping it honest crusade...

I felt the same way. Everyone keeps telling me that there is no reason to bother talking with him, because he is beyond reason. But - I would like to talk to him very much to try to understand him. I just think it's so counterproductive to the success of Steemit - and everyone seems to want Steemit to progress and thrive. but..... I guess I'm totally naive to these things.

A few months ago I got a message to my private chat in discord, where someone told me (I do not remember the name because delete the chat) that if I continued using bots were going to start giving me negative votes for my inappropriate behavior and they were going to affect my Reputation (just for using bots once in a while) I stopped using bots from that moment, and I certainly panicked because my account is very small

There are many people like me with small accounts that use bots to be visible, and much of the content I've seen powered by bots is really good, only that many people in Steemit are still invisible.

This is a new low for this tyrant. Will these desperate tactics drive a wedge between her and the whales who are complacent or do her antics serve more nefarious objectives? He had a pretty strong hatred of Black folks, and did some pretty questionable things outside of his anti-imperial actions. I personally prefer not to lionize him, and I know that many Black people feel the same.

That said, I support your actions in making this post, and the message you are trying to convey. Thanks for all your hard work here on Steemit.

Actually, Gandhi wrote and published writings using slurs and saying hateful things about Black South Africans. In this case, we can know, because there is plenty of evidence, some of which can be read for free online right now. It is a matter of historical record.

How can I power up my bot @chainchoppers to help with censorship? He'd like to help. Currently He's just a voting bot helping people that follow me as a witness get upvotes. But he'd like to do more if possible. Let me know! Though i'm the new wimpy witness with probably the least steem power of us all, I do possess some keen technical skills and i'd like to help if and wherever I can.
