Hello Steemains,

A second chance is every human's right and everyone deserve it at least. Many people do mistake sometimes God too(If you believe) and what they deserve is a second chance to correct everything and make everything settle in their right place. And if you say about steemit, flagging is the biggest punishment for minnows, I am not talking about whales as I know they got a wallet full of SBD/STEEM and a flag will not be going to affect them, but if you talk about minnows, a single flag and everything will get stumped, their style, their motivation, everything will get hindered and this will end up as losing a great future blogger...

• Every day I get the messages from some strangers on my discord DM regarding the flags and they were like, don't know what to do and just want to wave-off the flags on their post.
• Use of flag button is recently increasing in a weird manner after many whales started their flag war on trending page. This thing motivates other peoples too, and they start flag war, the cheapest-mean war in steemit.
• There are many ways by which you can avoid flags or the better way is communicate and solve the issue. But No! they still do flag as it is easy and you do not have to use the keyboard even, just a Mouse Click!

Flag kills future bloggers.

• Yes! flag kills bloggers and their creativity, not just this but a flag also takes away the freedom of speech and fill the small blogger with the fear to not to raise their voice again wrong.
• Steemit is too big and it got some harmful, toxic peoples too who believe in kill and rule philosophy. I am not a Nostradamus-like guy and I can't predict the future of a blogger too, but the talent is there in everyone!
• You can actually see this, just go to trending page, click on any post, scroll down to the bottom of comments and there you will see a bunch of hidden messages. I am not saying that everyone is right, there may be some person who is spamming intentionally but due to such people, small innocent minnows are getting traped too!

Avoid flags!

• Avoiding flag is a good practice and the easiest way to remain on safe side, however, sometimes you get trapped in such situations and you think to quit steemit.
• By avoiding, I do not mean to sit silently against something wrong, it means to keep calm and find a better way of expressing it. Even 911! is sometimes unreachable and you have to sort out problems on your own.
• Even if you get flagged, flagging in revenge is not a good thing, it will be going to increase the communication gap. Not at all a solution!

Be away from whale wars

• Many of the times you see your idol whale is getting flagged on trending page, and what you do is jump-in and start thrashing opponents. Please, do not forget that this is not the war place, this is a social blogging site.
• You and I are not the right people to judge someone here.
• Be calm and think what is wrong or right and comment only if it is necessary, do not hop for the attention as you will end up losing your reputation score.
• I request you to do not flag on the first site unless you got some strong base and proof. Especially whales! do not flag minnows, what you can do is set up guidelines for your followers and let them know.

Contact the flagger

• As soon as you see any of your posts got flagged, the first thing you must do is to contact the flagger and establish the communication either by steem.chat or by discord.
• Ask him the questions and evaluate your side first.
• And try to solve the issue instead of getting a part of the cold war, you can also publish a post regarding your situations and there are many peoples out their who can help you and you can contact me too!

Even after all this, your reputation score is low due to flags...

• Here is, @berniesanders, even with the low score he is hitting miles. This shows that Reputation score is not the everything.
• Learn from this guy and do not hold your speak, express yourself and let the cheaters know that you are ready to fight them.
