Help Me Fund an Ongoing Investigative Report About the Killing of a Man by LASD

in accountability •  8 years ago  (edited)

Note: Below this note is the initial information I gathered for my 07-14-14 Press Release. I released the content I had gathered up until this day to combat what the Mainstream Media, SBCSD and LASD had been releasing. Hopefully in enough time to get some people to be aware that they were not being told the truth, and that eye-witnesses were being misquoted and omitted from the official narratives. Some of the stories completely made up the accounts of the witnesses.

During my investigation my plan for releasing my full report came to a halt; mostly by a long drawn out bureaucratic box they put around releasing the Coroner's report. The report was to be put together like a 60 minutes style video editorial (Mini-Doc).

I have received "death threats" and warnings over this case. I have taken some slack and red tape from both Sheriff's Departments on my efforts. I have the support of most of his family and all the eyewitnesses. I was willing to wait for up to 1 year to obtain the Coroners report to cross-reference my findings and/or to find any contradictory information it might contain that conflicted with my findings. I also ran into complications via the surviving family members lawyers trying to obtain a copy of the "copy" they had received. They did reach out to me a few times, but not being able to confirm their agenda and reasoning of not letting me see the report for myself, I declined. While in conversation with the families lawyers I found that they themselves were not informing the family of their own rights to obtain it. I had to tell the victim's sister that her lawyers said... She has the power to get a copy of the full Corners report. But upon her asking them on my behalf, they did not want me to have it, and further advised a few family members not to give it to me. The last time I talked to the sister she still had not received a copy. The lawyers then reached out to me again asking me for raw copies of all the video surveillance footage I have the exclusive rights to. You see, I obtained all the raw security footage before the Officials got a copy and tried to confiscate it. The owner of the footage told me if I could get it off the DVR device and convert the footage to playable files, it was all mine. He did mention the SBCSD's (I.T.) guy was not able to do it. By the time they could, the footage was recorded over via DVR loop settings. So in all, I have the only raw footage of the shooting and what happened after the shooting. The total amount of video surveillance footage I obtained is (4.5 hours) Available from cameras #1, #2, #7. This is something that if they want copies, they will have to provide me with a copy of what I want so I can finally publish the facts about the case.

During my investigation (which lasted almost a year) I had gathered more facts and information regarding this case than the Officials and the Paid Reporters / Corporate Media outlets had. I have had the help of a (then employed, now former) Reporter from the Victorville Daily Press (owned by Local Media Group, Inc). Others have also supported my efforts from local social newsgroups and outlets, along with the majority of the local population who finds this shooting unacceptable and beyond reasonable.

The Victorville Daily Press published a story with "some" of my findings and properly attributed the content to me after a brief note was sent to the editor asking for attribution and accreditation on my investigation. The video the article was based on, was later deleted from the article. This can be seen here: http://www.vvdailypress.com/article/20140714/NEWS/140719918

I would like to travel back to the location of the shooting (Which now sits under a bus stop), and film my final video talking dialog to edit in between my interviews and b-roll to be released as my full report. I would like to raise enough for the gas and travel funds for my camera operator and I to get to the location, and also cover a one-night stay at a local hotel. I would like to bring all the facts together so the public and the family can finally know what happened that horrible day. The goal I am trying to reach is a simple payout of $100 USD worth of steem. Any funds gathered over that amount will go to the kids that were left without their father that fatal day. Paypal donations are also welcome! https://www.paypal.me/uncorporatemedia

As always, I remain at constant service for "Liberty and Freedom" -
