I aimed for 5am start this morning.

Don’t get me wrong this wasn’t some kind of new year resolution funk or guru book advice it was quite simply that i needed to restructure my days around to get the most out of the best time of my working day, the morning time — once I’m focused and lasered in on achieving things we move the day to suit.

I work best in the mornings, for recording videos especially, it’s that morning energy, i don’t like recording audio and video later on in the day, unless of course it’s like summer time and we have those late night summery nights, then those often provoke me because of the lovely skies.

No, early starts for me are about accountability to the tasks ahead, getting that early start means your ahead of the sleeping masses, internet is faster, distractions are less, notifications don’t start kicking in as usual as people ‘social’ their way into the office across a myriad of centralized apps with images of them holding coffee and pulling a duck face.

I was really surprised how many people wanted to carry on after the 31 days of the adventube into 7days, it really lit an extra fire under my backside and i want to thank everyone who jumped across for it, it really warmed my heart that you wanted to share what you were working on and wanted to have some kind of accountability each day to keeping the momentum — maybe i should turn this into a small business in it’s own right!

oh yeah btw, this is mash and gravy from christmas, someone donated me a stack of potatoes and i heated them up and fried them with some mega thick gravy. It was divine! :)

I really wanted to hit the ground running this month, I’ve got a lot of things that were outstanding from November and December time and i’ve been talking about them for far too long — it’s so easy when it’s just YOU to trick yourself that your getting ahead of something when really you are just putting it off.

When you know you have people waiting on the results and the output the frequency of that work changes drastically, all of sudden the work has a purpose that you never had before, determination to deliver it.

When you share that energy in a group as well you start to see the crossovers where you can help each other as well, where people can jump in, advise, give pointers, share best practice and ultimately make the task easier, even find partners in projects and business — decentralized virtual working sounds pretty perfect to me.

What you got on the work docket that you wanna get resolved for this month? Share it below! :) — let’s be accountable to each other!
