Born on April 29, 1951, the academic and economist and politician was the 6th Vice-President of the republic of Ghana, where hr held office from August 6, 2012 until January 7, 2017, under former President John Dramani Mahama.
His previous office where he served was as the Governor of the Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2012.
The whole nation has suffered a great loss.
