Rejection of the 'men' in StaMEN

The word #man is masculine whereby the plural is #men. Men actually represent power and ability to fertilize. It is also that way in the #stamen. It produces pollen grains which fertilize the #pistil.

@kus-knee alias old dog poses a complicated question about whether the Stamen and pistil go with the #petals. Ha ha ha. Petals are like make up and garments, they attract and make plants presentable for insects and birds to assist in #pollination.

I admire the photography of the likes of @shasta @eii @melinda010100 @axeman and @annephilbrick but I have presented my photo up there.

Now the flower is of a #pawpaw or #papaya. It has the Stamen only because this is a male tree. The pistil is on a different tree. Often you will not find many male papaya trees on a farm. They are often destroyed. One male tree can fertilize a whole county.
