REMOVE REDNESS FROM ACNE & SCARRING

Redness and Scarring

Two things that you face even after finally achieving a clear face with no active breakouts. These two things are in a whole different category than acne, in terms of the techniques used to help alleviate them. In this video I want to go over some of the most effective treatments that can be utilized to eliminate acne and scarring.

I'm still working on relieving my own acne scars but one really helpful thing I can tell you about redness is that the biggest healer will be time. The longer you are clear without active breakouts the more and more you'll see that redness and inflammation leave your face. I'd say the #1 thing to have during all of these processes is to have patience.

I'd love to answer any questions you have so leave them below! I appreciate your support Steem family, thanks Dtube for making videos more fun here on Steemit!

I got a pimple today and picked it and immediately thought "Daniel, you shouldn't be doing this!"

hahah you already know what I'm going to say brother!!

I know! I have a red mark on my face now that will probabl last twice as long as it would've if I never touched it! Never again!

You are right @brianturner. Skin scars take time to heal.

This will help a lot of people. Thankfully I haven't had acne outbreaks in many years! I did go through a bout of acne in my younger days and I never thought it would go away!

Thanks my friend, I put a lot of intention into providing info on acne for people who are in my past position because I would have loved to have it!

Thanks for this info @Brianturner! What's your take on the use of coconut oil as a moisturizer ? Obviously only a small amount so that it doesn't make your skin too oily... I'm asking because it's supposed to be antimicrobial, so in theory it should help with acne, correct? I find that it also calms any irritation of the skin, so it might help with redness as well.

Interesting...I try to keep things on my face to a minimum but I could see it being a good moisturizer compared to actual products that have twenty different ingredients. I would say to try it and see after a week if you skin can handle it or not. My only theory of it being really bad is that it's a saturated fat so when you face cold weather it would solidify and I'm wondering if it would clog pores in that case

I use it daily every morning (and Retin A in the evening). It works great for me. Coconut oil is also protecting against UVA/UVB rays (factor 4 from what I read!). I don't think the cold would be a problem since it melts like butter as soon as it touches the skin, and it would also be absorbed before you step outside =)

Oh wow, I love it! This will definitely help me with my acne that comes about.

Thank you very much help .. I have experienced acne almost 3 years

It's a tough thing to have to deal with!

Thanks For sharing this video

Holy crap your acne massively attached your face in the past!
removing dairy is the most effective first step but so is removing stress. a good week away from work/study/stress life can be a big win for reducing acne,... and drinking huge amounts of water.

saw your youtube post and found you here... thanks for the tutorial.

This is such a great video! I love that you stress everything works for people differently.

The best things I found were cleansing with castor oil and to get rid of scarring, using a dermaroller (I like the Banish Acne Scars brand) paired with the vitamin C serum.

thank you, your post

sin duda alguna el tiempo y la paciencia es el que ayuda a sanar

wow! Looking good. That's so awesome that its clear now. Acne is the worst.

Great information!

Sadly I should've known not to pick on my skin years ago. Have you tried medication against acne?
