Boogie Woogerton - Blues Lick in A

I joined Tony Polecastro’s school after hearing his talking about it on the Taylor Guitars podcast. I did the Freyboard Wizard class and stayed on for a year of Tony’s Acoustic Challenge. It’s really good!

I think making videos like these will help to keep me motivated and spread the word.

love me some taylor guitars, i need to do some acoustic stuff too, thinks for the motivational video

I like Taylors too. Have you tried one of the V-class ones? Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for dropping by and engaging with me!

I have not tried one. Honestly I am happy with my lowden and don’t want to like somethings else :) I had a lot of guitars in the past and sort of an addiction to collecting them .... I am finally ok with just owning 2 :) have an acoustic and electric and don’t play either one of them enough ... trying to change that... thinking I may do an open mic soon :)

I know about gear acquisition syndrome all too well. I have four acoustics now; I had an electric for a year or so, but never used it so I sold it. What model of Lowden do you have? I love the O32 - best 12-string I ever played was one of them.

Of my four, they all have specific roles. The one I struggle with the most is my most expensive one, for which I was almost 10 years on a waiting list. The tone is incredible but the string spacing is too wide for me and I just can't get used to it. I'm having one more go of using it exclusively - it's the one in this video in fact, a Kim Walker SJ.

After my Olsen and all my guitars got stolen I decided to just have two ... I will have to check which model I have I don’t remember off hand... spacing is a little wider and I like this,,, has a soft touch to it ... I am mostly a finger picker but this one play well with a pick too :) will look and see and report back :) my buddy got bob to make him a Taylor from his private stock of wood he was holding for 40 years will have to dig those photos out too :) it’s insane

mine is a lowden F-23c and I am quite happy with it :)
