Blood moon! Who saw this show this morning?
Ok, I admit it, the picture above is misleading, it's not from this morning. The weather was completely unsuitable for observing the blood moon. To get up so early and in this cold, I would have stayed better in my bed. Seen from my point of view in the west, i.e. exactly above Munich, I would have had a very good scenery. But unfortunately the clouds screwed everything up.
Nevertheless, the photo above is not from the net, but I took it on 25 July 2018, when we had a fantastic blood moon, especially Mars, which was very close to our Earth at that time, really impressed me. If you want to read the post I wrote about this event, please follow this Link.
The next blood moon is again in 10 years, New Year's Eve 2028!
Blutmond! Wer hat diese Show heute Morgen gesehen?
Ok, ich gebe es zu, das obige Bild ist irreführend, denn es ist nicht von heute. Das Wetter in der Früh war für eine Beobachtung des Blutmondes völlig ungeeignet. So früh aufzustehen und dann noch bei dieser Kälte, wäre ich nur im Bett geblieben. Von mir aus gesehen im Westen, also genau über München, hätte eine sehr gute Kulisse abgegeben. Aber leider haben die Wolken alles vermasselt.
Dennoch, das obige Foto ist nicht aus dem Netz, sondern ich habe es am 25. Juli 2018 geschossen, als wir auch einen tollen Blutmond hatten, insbesondere der Mars, der damals unserer Erde sehr nah war, hat es mir sehr angetan. Wer den Post lesen möchte, den ich über dieses Ereignis geschrieben möge diesem Link folgen.
Der nächste Blutmond ist erst wieder in 10 Jahren, Silvester 2028!
No blood moon, so at least a delicious broccoli soup for dinner: broccoli, carrots, garlic, ginger, onions, white wine, coconut milk and some secret spices, also hot ones!

Hey Linny! Yes, it is real. The orange color is produced by the sun rays going thru the earths atmosphere, forwarded to the moon and back to earth, where we see the spectacle.

Hab ihn diesmal völlig verpasst gehabt. Versuche den nächsten Termin in 10 Jahren zu erwischen 😊 schönes Bild übrigens. Letztes Jahr im Sommer hab ich ihn auch fotografiert. Da war die Temperatur deutlich besser 😇

The same happened to me: gone out at 6 and only observed cloudy skies!
And last summer I watched for hours at the Blood moon: I photographed it with my cell phone and incredibly it came out a decent photo, LOL!
