Some 14 days ago @thealliance asked us to Spread some peace and love by sharing posts with pictures of us sharing the universal world wide peace sign, and the tag #peace shows just how many of amazing Steemians took to the challenge.
I'm a little late to the game as usual, but here is my Steem Blockchain post to spread peace, love and unity throughout our community. And it truly astounds me how every single day we have so many people on the Steem Blockchain, posting, commenting and sharing their amazing thoughts and ideas.
The #thecoffeebreak in the @thealliance server at 10pm UTC Mondays is just a few weeks old, every week so far amazing Steemians have joined in the voice chat to share their thoughts on the Steem blockchain. Hosted by myself and @enginewitty, the show is an informal voice chat and text channel chat where anyone can join in and discuss whatever they like.
While regulars @jackmiller, @thehive, @saffisara, @shadowspub, @thekittygirl and @kartina-ariel are always on hand to share their own thoughts and experiences - we have enjoyed discussions with Steemians like @novacadian providing an amazing insight into how blockchains work and making the show lively and fun.
The peace sign to me means something special, and it also reminds me of what I found in the Steem Blockchain - people from around the world with language making no barrier getting together to support and grow something they truly believe in - a social blockchain where we all have a voice and every single one of us can contribute. It sounds amazing because it is, and together if we keep working at it the potential is there to make Steem a legendary social experience.

The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour. Thank you very much, so do I - it's actually really amazing when you stop and think how the communities around the Steem Blockchain grow together - and actually treat each other with respect as equals - that's something I have never encountered before.
