Today I tried out a new Lidl that has opened in Bucharest. It's just over half an hour away so I thought it was a good opportunity to get my step count up.
I bought some nice stuff like organic orange juice, local smoked cheese and local wine.
I managed to clock up just short of 9000 steps. It's pretty hot too, so happy with that.
We have made an offer on the rent of a flat!The agent has got back to us and although we didn't get the price down they have agreed to everything else that was discussed. Yay! 😁 We can move in at the end of next week.

They are cool. It can look a bit of a mess because of the way it works but they always seem to source really good produce. They are cheaper than most of the competition too. That helps! 😁

Yes @watersnake101 it is a chain. It's cool though because they source the best produce and stock up. Some of it local. Not always good for consistency but great for quality and trying new stuff.

It was a little disconcerting when you are looking at apartments that are not as nice as your current one but a lot more expensive. We've had to go a little alternative and a bit older, to find what we are looking for, but we got there in the end.

The change is exciting us a little but not the actual moving of the stuff. The area is definitely a bonus.

Congratulations on your new housing, sorry you couldn't get them down on the price. I don't envy you the moving part though, not one of my favorite things. So nice when you get settled in though.

Ah! A new place to stay found at last my friend.
Well done and congratulations.
The insecurity about finding a place is now removed.
We are now here in our own new place for a month already.
And still with some unpacked boxes standing around, but we will eventually get around to them, as settling in first is more important.
