A snap of me training a few years ago. I always train against taller or, stronger and a faster opponents. However, I only train against a few people who I can trust.
Saying that, I tend to accept training adviser from professionals, and avoid the Gym Bros who've trained for less than a year but think they know everything! Like most things in life, finding quality advice can be difficult.
So, on to today's training.
Training Summary
➣ Morning: 4.5 mile "Stamina" run.
➣ Evening: The plan was for more training but I got called away for several meetings until late but did walk about 2 miles in total.
Regarding this "stamina Run" It's different to long distance running. And something I recommend doing after you've been running for 3+ months. Pick a comfortable distance, jog say 50 meters, then sprint 100 meters, or Jog 50, sprint 50, then walk 50. Whatever you are comfortable with! It takes a while to get used to this sort of training and it has to be gradually implemented. Can start off with doing it over 500 meters near the end of your normal jog.
After you spring, you may feel the urge to stop but keep moving to be it walk briskly or jog, this is important. But like anything, play it by ear, listen to your body and always put your own safety first.
Before I leave, I have a question for you. Instead of just posting one line... And getting a ton of likes (rant) I think I will turn this Actifit training into a sort of daily blog. What do you think? Should I continue with this style or write shorter posts? Also, what should I call this sort of blog posts?
