10 days until the race !
Hi guys, today I ran 8 km and it was pretty hard to be honest. I think that waking up at 5 and not having the best nights sleep is not a good combination for a strong run.
Around 80 days ago I decided to run a half-marathon (21km) before that I had not run for 7-8 years. So I downloaded Nike Run Club, set it up and started a very intense schedule in order to prepare. Unfortunately 1 month ago I got an injury and it prevented me from training. I missed a lot of essential runs but still I will do my best to run the marathon.
The difference is that I don't have a goal of under two hours now, it has changed to finishing the race without further injuring my feet :)
Unfortunately I have a pretty persistent problem with my actifit tracker on my phone. It is not possible to have 7k steps for 8km + a pretty long warm up + 30 mins of walking. I hope I find a solution to it.

I know this problem very well. But I realized that it is not related to @actifit counting your steps... actually what happens is that, when you run, your stride or distance between steps is longer than when you walk so, for instance, when I run I used to have an stride of 1.5m which means I just need less than 6000 steps to reach 8km...
And if you run faster you will get still less steps 😂😂

Thanks, eddie. The problem is not exactly this. I was already 2k steps before the warm up. Also it happens all the time when I just walk, it stops counting and I have to restart the application, which is pretty annoying.
