March 20, 2019 - Time Out

in actifit •  6 years ago

It was a really crazy day today. We had lots of kids and children were very rowdy. Sometimes I feel like this vocation is not for me, because I do believe that children should be put on time-out and lose privileges when they display bad behaviour. But unfortunately, the time-outs apparently violate a child's basic right and it contributes to diminished self-esteem on children that may have a greater negative impact in their future.

Anyway, activity steps were from lots of walking, cleaning up, and tidying up during and after work. I worked a full day shift.

Oh, probably the only time I got to sit down, aside from during lunch break, was watching children enjoy their time at the playdough table.
