This Danish King's Garden is actually in Tallinn Old Town, Estonia.
There are multiple stories and legends of how it got it's name, with the most interesting one telling how the danes got their flag which fell from the skies, as the estonians attacked their ranks. Due to heavenly intervention, the danes were allowed to win this battle and thus began their 100-year long oppression over Tallinn and Northern-Estonia.

They get to me every time as well! I bet they would be even more enjoyable, if one would happen to visit this garden on a dark and gloomy autumn night, alone, with no-one else skipping around. Hmm... I just might try walking around Toompea at night.
