Helped a friend to move and offload some construction trash to the waste dumping grounds.
Havent been there ever, so that was quite an experience for me.
But ugh, the smell. I can only imagine how bad it gets on hot summer days.
Anyway, managed to snap some photos despite the stench. Enjoy!
I used to live up in the high country of Colorado in a small town called Gunnison.
There dump looked like your photos, with a view of the 14,000 ft Rocky Mountains, and trash and garbage everywhere!🙃

Recycling is a plus, I remember in Gunnison Colorado they they were very big into recycling to reduce the landfill 👍
