Today, my big project was laying some new sod around the deck stairs in the backyard.
The hardest part was carrying all the rolls of sod from the driveway around to the back of the house. After that the job got a lot easier. Just position the rolls, roll them out, adjust placement and cut to fit where necessary. Afterwards some liberal watering to get the grass growing. Fortunately the forecast is for rain almost daily for the next week. So I'll be letting mother nature take care of the watering for the next few days.
