I went to the physio. My shoulder and knee are no big issues and they should sort themselves out on their own. This is a good thing.
I had extremely tight muscles around the back of my shoulder and lots of stiffness in the quad, which was causing the pain in me knee. Both are somewhat cured by excessively powerful trigger point massage.
I already feel better. I might make it back into the gym next week.
I would love some extreme trigger point therapy!

My physio is rather brutal about it. She seems to enjoy it, and I am a willing victim.
No pain, no gain. A combination of her elbows (followed up by dry needling) - and then elbows again get the muscle loosened up really quickly, but it can hurt!
