Steem was up and then it was down and it worked again. There was a hard fork and then another. Pretty messy if you ask me. And I wonder you missed it. I mean really missed it... The bad thing is that when you break a habbur for one day then it is very probable to break it for a second and then it stops being a habit. 
It does suck that steem was down for a day, but I don't see that as a reason not to get your steps in. Looks like you did a solid job on the day.
