Hello everyone:) I was feeling somewhat better this afternoon and got out for some walking. On my way back past the boat ramp a local bloke I know a little just launched his 70s V8 speedboat into the lake. We said hello etc and he invited me to go for a ride in the boat. He was taking his young son and his friend out for some wakeboarding. As it was such a beautiful evening they wanted to make the most of this weather. Of course I accepted the offer:)
Wow this old boat is a beast it has a Chev 350 small block board and stroked to 398cu in, plus many other mods. Engine on the dyno makes 600hp. This motor in a 17' boat just goes like almost jumps out of the water when he hits the pedal.
Sorry I did not have time to photo the boat before boarding so these photos are the only ones I got before it was dark.
Certainly a different day out actifiting.
