I think everyone probably has a weird habit or two. We are just too embarrassed to admit it. So we work at being whatever version of normal we think is palatable to the rest of humanity and then keep up the ruse the best we can for as long as possible.
Social media doesn’t really help. So many people post everything that is fabulous and beautiful that those who don’t feel fabulous and beautiful shy away. I have a lot of thoughts about this particular topic, but that’s enough for one day when I have only 10 minutes to blog before my steps go away.
Here’s my weird habit. I work out between 11pm and midnight. It just seems to work best that way. Everyone I mention this too says it must disturb my sleep but I actually sleep much better than I did before I adopted this habit! Well time is up!! Over and out.

I work crazy hours, so I do my workouts at chaotic times. Most of the time I find myself doing them between 10 pm and midnight though.
In fact, I just finished doing my steps for the night (9:00 pm here right now), but I will wait for a bit to post them as I never know if I might get crazy and squeeze in another 100 or so. Plus, I'm just a procrastinator :-0
If I had my choice that is when I would always do them. It is dark, the world is quiet, traffic is light, and I don't usually have any pressing demands at that time.
Also I'm just a night creature by habit. Always have been for as long as I can remember.

So it’s not just me? Thank goodness! I thought I was a little crazy! Many days I get most of my steps during the last two hours of the day. It’s kind of a sacred hour when no one bothers me or needs anything from me!

I think it can seem like drudgery unless you find a type of exercise you really love or one you are motivated to do regularly. Keep searching!
