It has been raining pretty much straight through for almost 24 hours. But my husband and I slipped out for a late evening walk after dinner. I know it’s ridiculous to post such dark pictures, but I am hoping they are a little bit fun and artsy! Maybe not.
Work is crazy, as always, so I got a lot of my steps today from running around the office to meetings and such. I also go up and down the stairs to get to our 6th floor, as much as possible, rather than taking the elevator. Just a few things like that each day and you can add quite a few steps to your collection for the day!
Soon I will be going to the gym a few times a week. I’m kind of looking forward to it, even though it will signal the end of the beautiful summer weather we’ve been having. (I mean, until this monsoon swept in.) I just can’t bring myself to go to the gym during the summer time. But more and more I’m getting caught in the dark because the days are getting shorter!

There is beauty in the freshly washed outdoors, especially at night. Everything smells so different after the rain has sprinkled her cleansing waters over the earth. I am so glad there is another person who takes pictures in the nearly dark.. :)
I enjoy them, so thank you. I hate to think my beautiful summer is going away, only to bring winter to my door. Oh, to the gym indeed!
