Actifit plus Curation: "What's A Curie And How Do You Get One?" | Blog by LLFarms

in actifit •  6 years ago  (edited)

The first time I encountered Curie was on the comments section of a Curie-upvoted post. Everyone was hyped. The comments were mostly about congratulating the author, who was extremely humbled by the "Curie" recognition. Reading the whole thing felt like the author won a Pulitzer or something.

After learning more about Curie and especially after snagging my first vote, I can wholeheartedly agree about it feeling like a Pulitzer.

For most writers, Curie is a badge of excellence, a seal of approval for being a good content creator. And yes, Curie is about exceptional quality but there's so much more going on in the upvoting process. I only really learned about how it works when I got into the training program by one of Curie's best curators, and eventually became one of the curators.

It might be a bit difficult for most to figure out what's happening inside Curie. But my good friend Justine, a.k.a. LLFarms, one of the loveliest (both inside and out) people I met on Steemit, has researched and prepared this wonderful post on what Curie is and how to get a vote.

I'm putting her video here but go check out her post to get all the details, positivity and adorableness.

To Justine, awesome job! Thus far, I think this is the best primer of what Curie is. Everything was on point, including the frog noises lol.

For anyone who's wondering what's this post is about. I'm just trying to represent all that I do on Steemit on one single post. I'm an active Curie curator and enjoy curating. And there are days when it's just all I do. So it feels great sharing these hidden gems and further promoting the Curie-curated authors.

And as for Actifit. Well, I apparently can't be pushed into doing fitness activities unless you "gamify" it. Actifit has been a great motivator for me so I encourage anyone who's having trouble getting active to try it out. I'm surely grateful to Actifit for less stiff shoulders and neck!
