So today i was damn sleepy before heading to the gym. Wanted to do 5k but all the treadmills were in use. So I decided to do something, i had been thinking of doing for a while - rowing. I did rowing for 45 minutes, 8km, at level 8. Neither did actifit pick it up as an activity, not did samsung health. So i was only able to manage 2k steps after I wad done. However, was able to add 3k by walking in the house.

Oh, that sucks that none of your trackers picked it up, because rowing is hard work! Good for you for doing that even though you were tired.

A rower just probably glides too smoothly for Actifit to register the motion. I always think if I had the washing machine we had when I was a kid and used to sit on and ride across the kitchen during the spin cycle, I could get steps by sitting on the washing machine, LOL.

Haha.. true. It also registers steps when my phone is on my car's dashboard and i go over a pot hole.. So i can't leave it on.. otherwise the step count is exaggerated.
