12K on a warmish winter day.
I took three walks today and that's how I got most of my activity number. The weather was pretty nice, in the upper 50s.
If you've been reading my posts than you know that I also listen to all kinds of music and it really makes me move. I usually try to include one or more music videos in my actifit posts. I've gone as far back as the 1950s, but today I have something that's brand new, just released in the last few months.
These are two songs by a band called Zombie Girlfriend and they are from Hungary. They play a kind of music called Dreampop which I've been listening to a lot on the decayfm.com website. Dreampop is similar to Shoegaze and it's reverb heavy with overly processed guitar which is up front in the mix while the vocals are further back. It may not be everyone's type of music but I think it's kind of different and cool and it makes me move!
Don't Fall In Love! This one is a little aggressive; kind of Dreampop punk. Same swirly reverb guitar based music as other dreampop but a little faster and louder. The vocal harmonies really impress me!
Wind! Still guitar heavy, but a little slower and less aggressive, although the breaks rave faster and include industrial elements.
