Public Speaking
Today I had to do a little public speaking. It's not something I like to do, and I'm not that good at it. But it was only for a few minutes and I got feedback that I did fine. 👍
So most of my day was preparing for that and then doing that for a short period of time during a long meeting.
I did get to take a short walk and that's where this number came from today.
Pink Noise Helps You Sleep!
There has been work being done on and around where I live now, for the last 4 days. In order to help me sleep through the noise since I don't get up until the afternoon, I found a YouTube video with nothing but pink noise. It sounds like a waterfall or a leak in a tire or air conditioning. It helps to mask any background noises and it worked well for me. The video lasts for 10 hours and the screen is black and the noise just continues without much variation. If you need help sleeping, maybe you should try this too! 😴

Hope they don't start so early with construction, like out here. When the roofs are being cleaned or repaired, they tend to start at 730am, while people are still trying to sleep. So annoying. I may have to try that pink noise for my sleep issues. I started using lavender oil in a small diffuser. It seems to work for a few days and then I become immune to the smell, lol. Glad to hear you did well on the speech.
