Updated 4 hours later...

Yes, I really have no pictures to share, so I took a picture of myself and my scrivener project. :)

Anyway, I spent the last few hours reviewing and reorganising my writing project. I’m going to be starting Nanawrimo with approximately 30,000 words which I’ll further edit and do more planning of the future chapters next week. The goal is to add 50,000 words by end of November. And while I do this, I‘ve decided I’m going to also give myself a fitness target. This will be 50,000 steps for every week I’m doing Nanowrimo. Too often in the past when I write, I stop exercising. So my November targets are as follows:

Monthly Writing Target: 50,000 words
Weekly Fitness Target: 50,000 steps.

I can feel myself failing on both targets already, but I’ll try my best not to!

Also, in a bid to have more time in my life for fitness and writing, I’ll be doing a single weekly post. I’m not sure how this will affect my participation for the Freewrite House November Madness, but I will just have to do what I feel works best for me.

My steps below were from a 5km run, the elliptical, and reorganising my study to put some order back to my creative and work space for November.

Thanks for visiting!

Great to see those targets! You can do it. Maybe I should give it a go too this year,)

Yes! I promise to cheer with great enthusiasm (Disclaimer: on the day I have allocated to NaNoWriMo cheering. Hehe)

I haven’t seen your name appear around for a while, so it's nice to see you again. :)
Have you got a project ready to go?

Well done for getting your 10k done. I'm sure you can do NaNoWriMo! :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I updated my post with my targets, but I think when November hits, I’ll be quiet as a mouse on steemit. I’ll certainly miss Minty and Basil. ❤️ Hehehe.

I hope you keep us updated on steemit (via actifit or someother post) on how you are doing targetwise. I am sure you can do it. I KNOW you can! Minty and Basil will be woofing you along! :)

I will provide an update, just not daily. It’ll be in that single weekly post I mentioned. I’m going to create a template I can use rather than be so random. :)

If I’m going to write on my novel, I just need to focus on that. I’m too easily distracted by Steem otherwise.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have to be really disciplined: no checking anything other than the prompts I use until the 2k is written otherwise it doesn't get done. After that I reward myself with some steem!

I’ll still comment here and there, just not daily, so I’m going to miss Minty and Basil’s regular action shot as they keep you fit. I love cheering my fav actifitters, and you’re very much part of my regular cheering rounds. I’ll really struggle there keeping quiet. But for the month of November I’m going to practice restraint. It’s been on my mind that I spend too much time on the blockchain and not enough time working on what I love most. Some people can find a balance and still play on the blockchain. Not me. :(

5 km run - great effort!

Thank you for the visit and taking the time to drop a comment! :)

Hi Linny,
first of all I stumbled over the word "NaNoWriMo, but thanks to Dr. Google I found out about it.

So you are serious about writing a novel! Great stuff! Is it the science fiction piece to Moon or Mars or is it a secret?

Your fitness goal also sounds awesome and I wish you lots of success!

Oh, I am serious— seriously sick of how long I am taking to finish this one. If you look at the image closer, you’d see I’m writing about Warriors abc Gods. My novel is about a soldier transported to another realm similar to ancient Egypt. For whatever reasons, this one was of most interest to others when I shared parts of it to people. So this one first, then I’ll finally finish my science fiction romance.

The Moon romance is very dear to me. I shared a piece that introduced the villain a while ago on steemit. Here it is:

You’re welcome to join in the nanowrimo fun!

Yeah, I did take a closer look now. I will read the link tomorrow, it's a bit long and I am tired as it is almost midnight.

Hmm . . . I think, I am not really in the position to write a novel in english. It would probably turn out to be a comedy of just funny words . . . :-)

Linny, have a pleasant sunday!

Write it in German you silly man! I never even thought English with you. Hehe. You have a great day too when you wake up!

I’m curious. Why don’t you write your writing target out per week like your fitness target, or even break them both down to daily targets?

Around 7,200 steps per day and 1,700 words. The numbers don’t seem quite so big then.

Daily targets are actually scarier to me, it requires routine that doesn’t suit my random and moody ways. I’d like to do more than 50,000 steps a week, but I’m trying not to over commit. Thanks for the suggestion and the visit. :)

I had a feeling you might say that. What about daily minimum targets? Would they be intimidating as well?
