Finally!
What a day!
Managed to be busy enough to hit 15K steps!
And even with only less than 4 hours sleep, being on duty early in the morning (and unfortunately dragging my parents along the ride - poor mom and dad), being the driver, making sure they are well rested, back to vocal practice, and had to stop and take a 20 minute power nap... It was worth the call.
Why?
Because at least my parents get to see old friends despite I had to rush in and out of breaks to make sure they are OK.
Friends are important, especially when family and relatives are hundreds of miles away.
And I am very blessed to have two most valuable mentors I met right after I return from Australia at the time and we have been keeping close in contact as much as we can ever since.
And even though there was about 2 years we hardly get to talk and usually hi and bye, the friendship that was bonded between families are there.
And when you really need help, true friends will step in, even though it is a little inconvenience for them.
And that is what real fellowship is, that taking that slight inconvenience. And this couple are the first people who first showed me the true nature if Christ-centered Christians, who never ask for anything back.
Who walked with me the first journey of my uncertainties, and at the same time allowed me to expeirence triumph and setbacks without over interfering.
These gems are hard to come by, and I wish many more are willing to be the gem in many early stages of young adults but at the same time must allow the young ones to figure out their purpose in life.
And this rare even in a Christian community, why?
Because many do not truly live in the revelation of seeing the bigger picture but allow themselves to be so focused in self-centered-interest.
I pretty bet that this lovely couple will have more treasures stored for them in their lifetime and legacy compared to those who only cared to gather their treasures materialisticly.

Other than that, it was still a nice weekend post-birthday for my dad; seeing old friends and rekindled with his descendants who he wished that his baton experience of life has well passed to his most cherished grand children.... Only to be able to watch and observe in a quiet distance and letting them responsibly chart their own destiny.
While allowing their Heavenly Father guide them and protect them all the way.
The heart of a parent can be sometimes quite hard to explain... The heart of a grandparent is even harder... Until you one day become one your own.
Fruitful yet tiring Sunday day for me... But at least I hope I am still not too late to bank in another raffle for the Steemfest Blocktrades and Actifit joint contest.
