Although I have had a pretty high step count for the last two days, I've just been too distracted to actually post anything. I'm worried if I don't get back into the swing of things then I'll stop posting.
I don't have too much to report on for these last few days. Mainly my schedule has been just working and trying to get together with some friends for a night out. My legs have had a nice break from running to recover, but there are still twinges here and there every so often.
With about a week left until the race I still want to get out another time or two. In that case, I'll be running tomorrow and maybe Wednesday so I get two more days of practice and 2 days of rest before the actual race.
Still fairly excited. If I had to be completely honest, I see myself finishing the 5k a little bit above 24 minutes given how I've been averaging each km. Under 23 minutes is the goal though. And I'm going to go for it.
