I forgot to mention yesterday, but Tranmere are back in the play-off final. Saturday 25th May, Wembley stadium, vs Newport. Promotion to league one is at stake. They should be higher up the league. Tranmere are an old and great club and I spent many a Friday night as a child in the Paddock or the Family Enclosure at Prenton Park. At the moment they are going for back-to-back promotions so they'd better be careful - I don't think Scotland's FA have realised that Mickey Mellon is Scottish...

So Tranmere are copying the Gas and doing the back to back Conference /League two promotion. Fair play to them. I have always had a soft spot for Tranmere and I have been to Prenton Park in 1990.
