On the way to the farmer's shop

in actifit •  5 years ago

I have decided to start this post by saying THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who supported my posts. I am pleased and grateful for every single vote.

I have never thought that such activity posts could attract big players. But they did so I must be doing something right 😊

And now to the point..

How far is it for you to get to the local farmer?

For me, it is a couple of kilometres as I live in the city centre. I would normally go by car by I didn't plan to buy many things today so I decided to go for a walk. I spent all day yesterday in the car and it was good for me to stretch my legs..

It was much warmer than in Holland so it was nice to be outside..

They are about to finish a new tunel that leads through the hill on which I was standing and it feels strange knowing that there is a huge hole below me 😊

Almost there.. just up the hill and I will be at the farm..

But first the stairs..

And beautiful views..

This is the biggest bee hive that I've ever seen..

And we're here! It's a small organic shop but they had everything I needed. I love coming here as the produce is always fresh and delicious!

On the way back I took a different route to show you another views..

Here we go! My today's haul. It's not much but I like to get my veggies when I need them as I tend to forget what I have in the fridge..

When I came home I did laundry and dishes, prepared lunch and dinner, edited some photos and read a book. Sounds like a good day to me 😉

Thank you for visiting!

Cheers!

What a fantastic market, Europeans really rock! Such a healthy and natural way to live, going daily to get fresh produce and baked goods too.

This was a gorgeous shot!!

I think it's not everywhere like this. We live in a small city so it's possible but if you live in cities such as Paris, Rome, or Prague then it's not going to be that easy to get to a farm so quickly :)

Thanks a lot for your kind words!

Ah yes, definitely excluding the big cities. Germany was where the people I know were raving about it.
