Hello everyone π,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my world βΊοΈ. It's been a wonderful day and am so grateful for it, there are many who wanted to see it but didn't, so for that am humbled. As always I am back to report on how the day has been plus some of the trending news I came across. Thank you for being here and let's get started π¨..
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze π as I made my way around the neighborhood π². Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some fruits and veggies. Next came the refreshing napπ€. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting and exciting football matches going on.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze.
Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going. Then celebrations as Kenyans ruled London, winning in both men's and women's marathon ππ. Congratulations to our athletesπ―.
Globally, a devastating bloody day in Gaza as Israeli airstrikes in Rafa and central Gaza killed upto 48 Palestinians in the last 24 hoursπΏ.
Sources are saying a ground attack in Rafa is inevitable and coming soonπ.
The death toll in Gaza since October 7, is now 34,049π. I wonder what happened to ceasefire talks.
Meanwhile, another mass grave with over 200 bodies was uncovered from a Khan Younis hospitalπ. Mass graves an indication that war crimes were committedπΏ.
In the other war, president Zelensky has welcomed US aid to Ukraine after house of representatives passed the aid bill yesterday. He has urged rapid transfer of weapons as his troops struggle on the frontline πΏ.
Across the pond, Ecuadorians have been voting in a referendum to decide tougher anti crime measures. Ecuador has become the most violent country in south America as compared to it's neighborsπ. Many people killed in gang violence and other crimes.
Not far off, Colombia trending as the opposition held protests in Bogota, they are against president Petro's social and economic reforms π.
So that was Sunday and I wanna thank you for reading this far π. I truly appreciate your continued support π and love π. Sending back that love π and lots of blessings πΌπ to everyone.
See you again tomorrow on an awesome Monday, until then keep stepping and enjoying your weekend π.
I wish you all a productive and fruitful new week ahead π, stay safe, take care and good bye πππHAKUNA MATATA π€ͺ
