Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. So glad that you stopped by yet again 👏. Am really grateful for this day and before it ends we will quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also share some of the day's trending news. You know how we do it daily, so let's get cracking 💨.
Just like yesterday, it was an early start with the fast paced morning session. I enjoyed the fresh morning breeze 🍃 as I brisk walked 👣 and jogged around the cloudy neighborhood. A short but enjoyable walk 💯.
Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the mall for some groceries and window shopping😹. Next came the refreshing nap💤. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news,
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze.
Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Also trending, reports of a deadly cult at the Kenyan coast, over 40 bodies exhumed from shallow graves😭. It is believed the victims starved themselves to death on pastor's instructions 🙀, urging them to fast so they can meet God😹. Some have been found quite weak on the verge of death still refusing to eat. This was a thorough brainwash. Really shocking what the power of religion can do.
On a lighter note, Kenyans shined at the London marathon 🎊🎉, almost breaking the set record. Congratulations 💯.
Meanwhile, Sudan is still trending on the 9th day of violence in the streets. UN says over 400 civilians dead😭. Residents being forced to leave their homes as there is no electricity, water and food🙀.
Today foreign countries evacuated most of their staff out of Khartoum.
No one ever saw this coming, sudanese people are fleeing to Chad, south Sudan and Egypt.
Across the pond in the US, former Peruvian president arrived back home after being extradited from the US. He is being accused of receiving millions of dollars in return for public works contracts🙀.
He is being housed in a prison with two other former presidents😹. That is Fujimori, who has a 25 year sentence and Pedro Castillo, who is facing treason charges. He insists he is innocent but let's wait for the trial.
